Breaking Out the Business Cards
Breaking Out the Business Cards
While the large number of social media outlets that exist today may be raining leaders, as far as social networking goes, perhaps the best way to network with people you meet in person is through the use of powerful little tools called business cards. All too often forgotten or overlooked, business cards pack a lot of incredibly important information onto a small, travel-size card.
When a networking opportunity presents itself in person, you want to be prepared. Taking the time to find a pen and a piece of paper, and then scribbling down your name, phone number and email address, is not only a huge waste of time, but comes across as incredibly unprofessional. To always be prepared to make your best impression, make sure to carry around business cards. They are clean, credible and, thanks to a number of companies who offer cheap business card printing, pleasantly affordable.
Affordable Printing in Los Angeles
Affordable Printing in Los Angeles
In a city as large as Los Angeles, CA, there’s never a shortage of business options for you to use. From restaurants and retail establishments, to wedding planners and banks, the list of options for consumers to choose between is practically endless.
When you’re trying to find an affordable printing company to use for your business’ printing needs, the best place to start your search is online. Looking up companies online will allow you to easily compare key differences between competing businesses to quickly narrow down your search.
Once you have a short list, you can either call or email a representative of each potential company, to compare prices, and to obtain more detailed information on the products and packages offered. One important thing to keep in mind when searching is that you’ll want to search, not only for low-cost printing options, but also for a company that doesn’t overlook the importance of a high quality product.
Digital Printing vs. Offset Printing
Digital Printing vs. Offset Printing
The two most commonly used commercial printing techniques, today, are digital printing and offset printing. While there are some similarities between these two technologies, there are also pros and cons for each, which should be weighed before deciding which to go with for your custom printing needs.
Offset Printing
Offset printing is commonly known as the traditional printing process. With the use of actual ink, the quality is almost always far superior to that of digital printing. If you’re printing a large quantity of pages, offset printing is also your best choice, from an economic standpoint. The one big thing you’ll need to consider, when using the offset printing process, is time. Offset printing can take days longer than digital, meaning you’ll need to allow time for the process to be completed.
Digital Printing
Digital printing is a printing technique that is usually done by using toner and oil (much like a laser printer or color copier), as opposed to ink, which is used during the offset printing process. This style of printing is outstanding, when you need an incredibly quick turn-around time, thanks to the reduced amount of equipment and maintenance needed. If you are having a small quantity of items printed, then digital printing is often the more affordable option. However, while the efficiency of digital printing is great, the quality tends to be lower, when compared to offset printing.
Here at Color FX, we offer both offset and digital printing, to make sure that whichever printing process you decide to use, we’ll be able to help you out with our outstanding color printing services.
